ARES NET PROCEDURAL SCRIPT

 

QST, QST, QST - CALLING ALL AMATEUR RADIO OPERATORS.  This is (YOUR CALL SIGN), (YOUR NAME) in (YOUR LOCATION),

your net control station for this evening's net.  Good evening and welcome to the Yuba Sutter ARES net for Thursday MM/DD/YYYY (CURRENT DATE)

This net meets every Thursday at 1900 hours local time on the WD6AXM repeater at 1-4-6 decimal 6-8-5 Megahertz input and 1-4-6 decimal 0-8-5 Megahertz

output.  The PL tone is 1-2-7 decimal 3 hertz.  DROP

I am now placing the Yuba-Sutter ARES group on level two emergency status for the duration of the net.  DROP

This is a directed net, formal net and all traffic is to be directed to or through the net control station.  All licensed amateur radio operators are invited to check in.

are prepared to take over as net control in the event that a relief net control station is needed.  Stations wishing to identify to net control may come now.
