Miscellaneous Gatherings

 

The following information is regarding non YSARC club informal social gatherings & functions supported voluntarily by local ham operators.  The Yuba Sutter Amateur Radio Club, Inc., it’s Board Members, and Club Officers, and Members, nor the  ysarc.org website nor it’s webmaster do not express nor imply any endorsement, affiliation, specific recommendation or preference toward any of the following listings.  While in attendance to a non YSARC club sponsored event, YSARC  members are not covered under YSARC’s Inc.  liability insurance.  Information regarding these informal non-club gatherings and functions  are thus made freely available to club members, guests and visitors as a public service in the interest of education, without any reparation, fee or tariff.

Wednesday morning Coffee & Donuts (Location varies)

Wednesday each week there is usually a gathering of local hams at a variety of local Yuba-Sutter donut shops for the daily dose of caffeine (coffee/tea) and fat pills (donuts) or perhaps even a breakfast restaurant for a full meal chow-down.  This of course depends on the desires of the group and level of participation.  There are also tips, tricks, swaps and lots of useful ham chatter info for folks to share.  The locations and times vary so each week the information is updated on the local repeater during Monday night net.  Listen in for details!

 

The Not-So-Daily Lunch Bunch
The local ham operators gather in a lunch bunch typically but not-so-daily at the Jack In The Box restaurant at the Colusa Ave. frontage to the Mall at Yuba City for a burger, fries and a soda/shake.  The location and time can vary.  There are also tips, tricks, swaps and lots of useful ham chatter and info for folks to share.  Usually (but not-so-daily) you’ll hear the bunch on the local repeater between 11AM and Noon forming up to put on a feed bag.  Listen in for details!
