The purpose, of course, is to
provide as much information and data to the members of YSARC as possible. The
internet is an ideal vehicle for this because of its versatility and availability to anyone with an
internet-ready home computer and service provider of their choice, and/or
publicly accessible computers at local schools, and libraries etc.
Concerning this website's guidelines, here they are as the webmaster determines them at this time:
All content will be suitable for family use down to your pre-school grand kids.
There will be no anonymous postings on the website. All contributions will be considered, but if you write it you own up to it. Both written and photographic contributions are welcome. The decision to include material on the
ysarc.org will be that of the webmaster.
Remember that much of the material on the Internet is either copyrighted or proprietary information. Please be sure that your offerings don't fall into either of these areas, or get the owner's permission to publish. An example is the piece on SWR we have included for some time with the author's blessing. Remember that the intent is to have more material on the Web
ysarc.org than in the Newsletter. It is simply not economically feasible to put everything into the Newsletter due to printing and postage costs.
Like the Newsletter, ysarc.org can be a real time consumer. If you don't see your contribution
posted immediately, maybe the webmaster ran out of time or there were other priorities at work.
The webmaster, like the Valley Ham News newsletter editor, serves at the pleasure of the
YSARC Board of Directors. Officers will have input, but the Board is the final authority.
It is anticipated that there may be changes and additions to these guidelines. If you have a suggestion or a question, please
e-mail the webmaster.
Thank you!
